The Golden Architecture of Pirot

An artistic process that emphasizes the value of heritage in the field of architecture for me is very interesting. The black and white photograph shows the permanent change of light and shadow, to whose intermittent performance and balance life is based. The uniformity of the scheduleindicates that these changes are not accidental, because the rule of the eternal laws leads to perfection. The sky is presented by blue colour. By doing that the connection with the renaissance is made. Giotto di Bondone is perhaps the first painter of that time that paints the sky blue.

If these buildings were from that time, they would probably be even more valuable, but only for those who would know how to value them. Perhaps, they would be ranked with medieval churches. I recognize this connection in the golden color. It was used as the culmination of value in Solomon's temple, its interior was completely in gold. By the time Giotto di Bondone lived, the sky was depicted by golden color on frescoes and icons. The author covered the blue sky with gold for several reasons. First, it emphasizes the value of the presented architecture. Then he brings them into the ranks of the temple, the house of God, the architecture built in the golden ratio of the system, the most pleasant for man, because in each person there is the same proportion – a man is a God. Third - iconography of a contemporary church has been questioned. Fourth - modern sacral architecture has been questioned. Fifth - the author fulfills the existed cavities with gold but also nullifies what disturbs him. That's actually the key! The blue color that is barely visible is an allusion to man's actions. A man is nothing in comparison to nature, a little creature, whose life is a crumble in relation to life itself. Gold, similar to the Japanese process of creating a new item of broken objects, improves the resulting situation. At the end, the most important, it nullifies everything that threatens the architectural composition which is protected by law. Yes! You cannot touch anything. The ambiance itself is protected. You cannot even replace a door handle on your own because that would damage the architectural harmony. Isn't it clear that the presented threatening acts, which the author strongly criticizes, diminish the value of the heritage? Don't we bury “the golden mine” for our successors with those acts? The French are preserving the painting of Mona Lisa for a good reason, not only they have spent a lot of money for the marketing of that famous painter's picture, but billions of guests pay tickets to Louvre to see this masterpiece of the Renaissance painter. The hidden symbols in the eyes of Leonardo's model are in fact related to the artistic method of this author. The author did not use the shade of blue colour by accident. It is not visible to the observer’s eye but could be seen through the heart of the observer. The cognition of its meaning is revealed in the process of spiritual searching at the point of changing consciousness about one part of the nature of the being. Or is it perhaps the way to the First Temple?
